Fundraising for our documentary has started

September is not far away now. Fundraising for our documentary has started. What could go wrong!

Make sure you click on the link and watch the two-minute intro :) This Lowest to Highest adventure is going to be a blast! How is Walter going to ride a fat bike from the desert into the mountains with less than half a lung, Duncan who is blind will be powering Paul who can't walk on a tandem recumbent bicycle, Dan is a paraplegic on a hand powered bike, and Conrad has severe nerve damage and chronic pain.

Without even mentioning religion any publican in any hotel would probably see us and ask us: 'What, is this some kind of a joke?' We will be riding 2000+ kilometres .... what could possibly go wrong :)

World Expeditions

World Expeditions has been pioneering adventure travel in Australia for over two decades, and has now offered to become our major ride sponsor! This means we may have a World Expeditions support vehicle and crew and expertise in fine tuning our route and logistics. We will do them proud! Hopefully, this will also encourage other organisations to help us with support in the form of travel and accommodation, airfares, communication costs or other incidentals. If you believe your company may have something for us to consider please contact walter@coughing4cd.com .

Support us and star in the documentary

We are honoured to have the Expedition filmed from start to finish for an inspiring documentary about cooperation and working together to overcome challenges and obstacles. It will be a film that reveals the humour of the situations that we, as people with different disabilities sometimes find ourselves in.

The multi-award winning film makers Rummin Productions will be filming us. Have a look at one of their Award Winning film, Doing It Scared, covering Paul's last adventure on the Totem Pole.

So far we have the official support of BIAT, The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania,  a non-government, state-wide, not-for-profit organisation!

Australian Cyclist

Walter was also featured in Australian Cyclist Magazine in the past, someone has found this copy! We shall notify them of our 2017 September, never before attempted ride, from Lake Eyre to Mount Kosciuszko. We will be filmed for an inspirational and slightly humourous documentary by award winning film maker and photographer Matthew Newton: http://matthewnewton.com.au.
