Walter was sponsored with the use of a Kona fat Mountain bike from Hitbikes on the sunny Queensland Sunshine Coast.

This Kona Wo fatbike will be equipped especially for the ride by Dean from Hitbikes. The fat bike is what Walter preferred to ride along on the dirt and desert tracks, but will be harder on the road sections. Walter's theory is that he wants to go on the fat bike and going up hill with his lungs generally means walking or going very slowly in low gear :)
